Well, I do have to credit my dear friend Kaitlin Wright from Blushed.ca for this new discovery that gets me pretty giddy every morning. I'm not one of those fitness professionals who pass on coffee - BIG fan of some caffeine over here!

Take 2 shots of espresso topped with some ice, coconut water and sprinkled with cinnamon. Why? The cinnamon is great for balancing blood sugar levels, the coconut water features electrolytes and the espresso will give you a great little jolt before a workout (and likely improve your endurance).

So, it's basically a double americano but with coconut water instead of water. And it's delicious - no milk or milk alternative necessary. It's a nice twist, and a super refreshing coffee drink for summer.
