My name is Saghi. Over the next six months I will be working with Jess to get in shape in time for my wedding! June is fast approaching and these love handles are not going to burn themselves off. So it's time for some serious actionâ¦
A little about me:
For the past year I have not been feeling confident about my body. My clothes don't fit the way they used to, I haven't been making healthy choices even when I thought I was eating healthier, I really wasn't. I tried counting calories, signed up at the gym (but never went) and tried the no carb diet, but nothing worked. I was lacking in motivation, energy and confidence. After months of complaining about my weight and my eating habits, my fiancÃ© saw how unhappy I was and suggested getting a personal trainer. I was skeptical at first and thought that it would be a waste of money, but I agreed to meeting Jessica and having a consultation. What did I have to lose? I knew once I met her that I had to be honest with her about my day to day meals and activities. No hiding the fact that I had a cheese burger the night before! That first initial meeting went better than I had expected. Jessica made me feel comfortable and reassured me that with a lot of hard work and her expertise I would become the person I've always wanted to be.
So here I am, 4 months of sweat later, with the support of my fiancÃ© and the direction of Jessica, motivated to continue losing the weight to ensure I look great in my wedding dress! Not only am I shedding weight but I'm also shedding some tears, it's not going to be easy but I'll be sure to chronicle all the ups and downs here.
My goal is to lose fat around all the areas that stare at me in the face every morning - my arms, thighs, stomach and sides. I also want to adopt healthy eating habits, feel fit and full of energy, as well as look toned and in shape.
The goal isn't just to look great on my wedding day, it's to make a lifestyle change that will have me feeling great on my 25th wedding anniversary.
Starting Weight: 137.5
